You can earn some extra money by taking online surveys, but it’s difficult to earn large sums.
It is not, in fact, too good to be true. You can earn extra money by taking paid online surveys. Some of them are even trustworthy.
Is it, however, easy money? Will you be able to purchase your own island anytime soon? No, and also no.
Some of them, however, may be worth your time if you follow a few rules:
Do not pay to use an online survey site.
You are the one who is supposed to be compensated. If you have to pay to join these sites, you are most likely being duped. Shopping at a retailer via these sites is obviously acceptable; in those cases, you’re purchasing goods.
Paid Online surveys should not be the only source of Income:
There are better side jobs available. It’s ideal if you get some enjoyment out of trying to get good deals and earn extra money – but you don’t mind if you end up spending a few minutes filling out a survey only to be told you don’t qualify because you fall into the wrong demographic.
There might be a slight delay in Payment:
Filling out a survey appears to be a simple task that will only take a few minutes. Don’t be duped. Surveys can take up to 15 or 20 minutes to complete.
Try spending minimum time on these Survey sites:
If you’re having fun while earning a little extra money (emphasis on the little), that’s fantastic. If it feels like work, you should try to find something that pays well.
With all of that in mind, here are some of the best paid online survey sites that can help you earn some extra money.

You know the drill: you’ll get points for taking surveys and watching videos, which you can then redeem for cash. You can’t actually cash out until you earn $30, so if you don’t enjoy taking surveys, it may be a bit of a chore to wait until you reach that amount. Meanwhile, payments are processed every Wednesday, so if you reach $30 on a Thursday, it may take up to a week to receive payment. However, there is a $5 welcome bonus to help you get started.
This is a well-known company that has been around for decades, and if you sign up to participate in its surveys, you will receive email invitations to surveys. You can participate if you qualify for them based on factors such as your age, gender, and profession. When you complete these surveys, you will earn HIpoints, which you can later redeem for gift cards to Starbucks, iTunes, or Amazon. You can also donate your points to a good cause.
You can join or sign up through Facebook. You create a profile and answer a few life-related questions. The more personal information you provide, the more the company learns about you (you really shouldn’t use any of these sites unless you’re okay with companies knowing some things about you), and the more surveys you can receive tailored to your interests or lifestyle.
Doing surveys earns you points, which can be redeemed for cash.
The average payout per survey is up to (note the “up to”) 300 points. According to BrandedSurveys, 100 points equal one dollar. You are paid through PayPal or gift cards, and you can cash out once you reach $10.
This is also a well-known website. You can earn gift cards by completing surveys, watching videos, voting in polls, and engaging in other activities such as shopping. There is also a $10 sign-up bonus. “Perfect,” you’re thinking now. “I’ll sign up, get $10, and never return to the site.” That, however, is not the case. In your first 30 days of membership, you must spend $20 or more on the site, excluding taxes and shipping, on a merchant through the website or through MyPoints emails. Still, if you’re going to buy something anyway, that’s not a bad welcome offer.
Typically, you will not be paid more than a buck to complete a survey on LifePointsPanel.com, and you may be paid less. When you reach $20, you can cash out via PayPal. According to reports, most surveys can be completed in 10 minutes or less. Again, you won’t get rich doing this, but if you do a few surveys here and there and find the process easy, it could work out well.
However, as with many of these sites, you will be required to check various boxes when signing up, essentially agreeing to receive emails from this company whenever they want to send them. As if your inbox wasn’t already overflowing.
You sign up for the site and participate in surveys. You earn points for each survey you complete (generally, you can expect to make 10 cents per point). You won’t make much money – maybe a buck an hour or a little more if you work hard – but the money you do make can be redeemed for useful things like Amazon.com gift card claim codes and an iTunes gift card.
It’s a fairly simple procedure. After registering, you will be given the option to participate in surveys. You’ll be rewarded with points for completing surveys, such as 500 or 1,000 points, which sounds fantastic until you realise that 1,000 points is worth $1 (so if you earn 500 points, you’ll get 50 cents). Once you’ve earned $25 and accumulated 25,000 points, you’ll be able to cash in your points through Amazon or PayPal.
You complete surveys, earn points, and then cash out. “You will NOT get rich taking surveys,” the website’s FAQs state emphatically. You can, however, take surveys and earn points if you are 16 or older and live in the United States, Canada, or Australia. You can start cashing out once you have 500 points (which equals $5; 100 points equals $1).
This is one of the more popular websites. You earn Swagbucks by taking surveys. If you accumulate enough points, you can exchange them for cash or gift cards. The average survey payout ranges from 40 cents to $2. You can start cashing out at $3 for gift cards and $25 for PayPal payments. Swagbucks.com also offers coupons and free samples.
It’s one of those sites that won’t make you rich – one Swagbuck is worth a penny. You will not become wealthy by visiting any of these websites. Still, if you enjoy taking surveys, watching videos, and browsing the site to see what points you can earn and what coupons and free samples are available, you might find it worthwhile and even enjoyable.
Toluna Influencers surveys are available on the company’s website, or they can be emailed to you. If you qualify for a survey, it will most likely take between 15 and 20 minutes to complete. You’ll earn points ranging from 15 to 50,000, and you’ll have access to a dashboard where you can see how many points you’ve earned.
Some users have suggested that you’ll likely make less than a dollar an hour, so it may be more interesting and fun than a good way to earn money, as with so many of these sites. However, none of these sites are intended for you to make a living by filling out surveys.
