5 Scams to AVOID for earning online

There are some things you should avoid if you are serious about producing money online.

Unfortunately, the internet is now flooded with “work-at-home” “opportunities” that are nothing more than scams.

Always stay away from the following categories of con artists and time wasters:

Scam 1: Data entry jobs / work from home scams

If you’re good with computer skills, I’m guessing you’re not interested in data entry. You’re wise enough to stay away from it.

But, if you’re truly interested, you should stop reading now. The phrase “data entry” makes me shudder more than any other. I suggest this because there are a zillion and one data entering scams out there.

Medical transcription, medical billing, and clerical work are the most common types of legitimate data entry occupations. The majority of these positions are highly competitive and require training and experience before you can begin working.

Scam 2: Earn from Google with few clicks

Every get-rich-quick scheme is a rip-off, and this one is no exception. For bloggers and website owners, Google’s ad program is beneficial, but you can only profit from it if you develop your own content and work hard. Scam sites claim that you may generate money quickly by using Google.

Scam 3: Get paid for using the Internet

These jobs pay very little and are not worth your time. They usually pay a couple of cents(10-20 Rupees) per day.

Scam 4: Get paid to read emails or Articles

Again, this is a low-paying job that isn’t worth your time.

Scam 5: Surveys, GPT sites

Stay careful from any site that claims to pay you for doing minor tasks such as clicking adverts. The amount of money you will be paid will be VERY LOW (typically you get less than Rs.100 after working for 1 month).

Surveys are not advised, particularly if you live in India. This is due to the fact that only a small percentage of organizations accept replies from India. As a result, your earnings will be quite modest.

Even though these sites are not scams, I no longer suggest them because taking out surveys or clicking ads for small sums of money on a daily basis is not worth your time. If you want to make money online, there are far better options.

Finally, keep in mind that any website that demands for a registration fee in order to provide you with employment is a scam. These types of websites should be avoided at all costs.

I hope you now have a better sense of what you should avoid.
